Boeing's new CEO, Robert Ortberg, takes over the company's leadership on Thursday after previous CEO Dave Calhoun stepped down.  Ortberg faces the challenge of restoring trust in Boeing and stabilizing its finances and production systems after years of crisis. Ortberg's first action as CEO was visiting Boeing's 737 Max factory in Renton, Washington, to review safety and quality plans with employees. Ortberg has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, most recently as CEO of commercial aviation supplier Rockwell Collins.
