Vice President Kamala Harris and Former President Donald Trump have both agreed to a debate on September 10th on ABC. Shortly afterward, ABC confirmed. David Muir and Linsey Davis will reportedly moderate the ABC News debate.
During his lengthy Mar-a-Lago press conference, Trump said he would participate in a trio of debates on Fox News Channel, NBC and the ABC next month.
Vice President Kamala Harris said she agrees with the ABC debate while speaking with reporters for the first time since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee nearly three weeks ago. She talked to the media on the tarmac at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport after a campaign event in Michigan.
Trump said Thursday that Democrats took the presidency "away" from Biden after his porous debate showing in June.
Harris has surged in the polls since ascending as the party's nominee in place of Biden, who dropped out of the race last month under intense party pressure.
