Asian-American teenager, Ethan Guo, aims to become the youngest person ever to fly solo to all seven continents in a small plane.
On Tuesday, 19-year-old Guo took off from Geneva in his modified four-seater Cessna 182, embarking on a trip that is expected to take 100 days, flying over 80,000km, with stops in 60 countries.
He’s hoping to raise $1m for cancer research, inspired by his cousin’s diagnosis in 2021.
