Sonic arrives at the Press Garden Zone, where Robotnik has set up what appears to be a newspaper printing factory. In addition to new Badniks, this Zone is filled with many new hazards, including crushing presses and dangerous spike traps. The factory gives way to a beautiful frozen forest, but looks can be deceiving. At the end of the path awaits the cunning Heavy Shinobi, but Sonic is more than ready for his tricks. Robotnik then sends our heroes to the new Stardust Speedway, an area Sonic is not very fond of. Once again, Metal Sonic rises to challenge Sonic and Tails, but this time the Phantom Ruby's powers transform the metal menace into something far more powerful...
