Women's singles shuttler He Bingjiao ended her teammate Chen Yufei's dream of defending her gold medal in the Paris Olympics by toppling the latter in the quarter-finals on Aug 3.
He will take on Spain's Carolina Marin while top seed An Se-young of South Korea will play against Indonesia's Gregoria Mariska Tunjung in the semi-finals on Aug 4.
