Microsoft's fourth-quarter results met most metrics but missed on its Intelligent Cloud segment which includes Azure. Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives said the quarter and guidance were "fine" but not a "blowout". Nothing changed his bullish view on Microsoft's AI potential. CEO Satya Nadella and CFO hinted at an acceleration in Azure growth next year as more enterprise customers adopt AI in their organizations. Gene Munster saw the Azure miss as having a "unique sting" due to parity with Google Cloud growth. However, capex growth of more than 50% will help Microsoft long-term.
