The Transport Commissioner says heavily-tinted vehicles are a major concern for law enforcement because when officers approach such a vehicle, they have no idea of the threat they could be facing.
It is for this and other reasons that the Ministries of National Security and Transport have joined forces to implement the use of tint measuring devices by Licensing Officers and the Police.
However, the Minister of Transport says the motoring public has a six week window to ensure their vehicles are in line with the now, four year old, tint regulations
