Henry the 8th wrote this Poem/song called O' My Heart, in 1520. Who incidentally had 6 wives, two of which he executed. Perhaps the context of this poem is malicious sarcasm opposed to what we think. I added some octaves in the end because I don't like repeating verses the same.
I find it interesting with these older songs the spelling of English words. Also the French/Latin is prominently used. Rumour has it, in the ole days of Albion (before England), peasants spoke English and the rich spoke French.
