I accidentally spilled coffee on my shirt while organizing some documents in my boss' office. Unfortunately, he walked in just as I was trying to get rid of my dirty, coffee-stained clothes. My boss had a reputation for making advances toward younger colleagues, and misinterpreted the situation as an intentional move on my part. Surprisingly, he asked me out on a date, even though I was older than his usual targets.
I agreed, but was set on not compromising my integrity for career advancement, unlike some of my younger coworkers. During our date, I couldn't help but share this principle with him due to being nervous and he burst into laughter. As it turned out, he had other motives – He wanted me to help him get closer to the new girl in the office.
