On Friday evening local time, citizens and tourists queued up for security check near the River Seine ready to watch the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games. Tens of thousands of police and other security personnel have been patrolling streets to ensure safety for the grand event.
The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games starts on 26 July 2024 and is expected to last more than three hours.
