@Gocciedimemoria Vittorio De Scalzi (Genova, 4 novembre 1949 – Imperia, 24 luglio 2022) è stato un cantante, polistrumentista e compositore italiano, noto per aver fondato il gruppo musicale rock progressivo New Trolls, attivo dal 1967 al 1997.Negli anni sessanta ha fondato I Trolls insieme a Pino Scarpettini, con il quale incide il singolo Dietro la nebbia.Nel 1967, terminata l'esperienza de I Trolls, costituisce i New Trolls.Durante la loro carriera i New Trolls hanno preso parte a sette edizioni del Festival di Sanremo.De Scalzi muore il 24 luglio 2022 all'ospedale di Imperia, dieci giorni dopo la sua ultima esibizione all'Auditorium Franco Alfano di Sanremo per le complicanze di una fibrosi polmonare derivata dal COVID-19 che lo aveva colpito nel 2021.
Vittorio De Scalzi (Genoa, 4 November 1949 – Imperia, 24 July 2022) was an Italian singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer, known for having founded the progressive rock band New Trolls, active from 1967 to 1997. In the sixties he founded I Trolls together with Pino Scarpettini, with whom he recorded the single Dietro la nebbia. In 1967, after the experience of I Trolls, he formed the New Trolls. During their career the New Trolls took part in seven editions of the Sanremo Festival. De Scalzi died on 24 July 2022 in Imperia hospital, ten days after his last performance at the Franco Alfano Auditorium in Sanremo due to complications from pulmonary fibrosis resulting from COVID-19 which had affected him in 2021.
