@Gocciedimemoria Elio Fiorucci (Milano, 10 giugno 1935 – Milano, 20 luglio 2015) è stato uno stilista e imprenditore italiano, fondatore della casa di moda omonima.Il 31 maggio 1967 apre il primo negozio in Galleria Passarella a Milano disegnato da Amalia Del Ponte. Nascono i primi negozi Fiorucci a Londra e a New York per poi proliferare in molte delle grandi metropoli in giro per il mondo.Dopo la grande espansione durata circa tre decenni, nel 1990 cede l'attività alla società giapponese Edwin International che mantiene a Milano il solo centro di design del gruppo.Nel 2003 crea il progetto Love Therapy, che comprende jeans, felpe, abiti e accessori.Nel 2014 collabora con It@rt creando opere t-shirt esclusive a sostegno del Progetto Amazzonia del WWF e con una t-shirt denuncia contro le pellicce d'angora.A luglio 2015, all'età di 80 anni, viene trovato morto nella propria abitazione a Milano stroncato da un malore.
Elio Fiorucci (Milan, 10 June 1935 - Milan, 20 July 2015) was an Italian stylist and entrepreneur, founder of the fashion house of the same name. On 31 May 1967 the first shop opened in Galleria Passarella in Milan designed by Amalia Del Ponte. The first Fiorucci stores were opened in London and New York and then proliferated in many of the large metropolises around the world. After the great expansion that lasted about three decades, in 1990 he sold the business to the Japanese company Edwin International which maintained the only one in Milan design center of the group. In 2003 he created the Love Therapy project, which includes jeans, sweatshirts, dresses and accessories. In 2014 he collaborated with It@rt creating exclusive t-shirt works in support of the WWF Amazon Project and with a t-shirt complaint against angora fur. In July 2015, at the age of 80, he was found dead in his home in Milan, struck down by an illness.
