Before reaching Dr. Robotnik's headquarters, Sonic must make his way through the dangerous trap-filled Gene Gadget Zone. It's a mechanical maze filled with electrically charged floor hazards and annoying fans that send Sonic flying in all directions, but the Blue Blur welcomes the challenges with his familiar smirk and attitude. As it turns out, Sonic quickly realizes he is on his own since Tails and Knuckles have stayed behind...
