The Police conducted what the Police Commissioner referred to as "in your face" policing with a series of road blocks on Thursday.
And the officer in charge of the union representing second division police officers says that while this amplification of the TTPS's war on violent crime in this country, says the aim is to cause inconvenience to those involved in gun violence and criminal gang activity.
But he says more effort is also needed from those who protect the nations' borders and the Judiciary.
