Country music artist Ingrid Andress admitted she was drunk during her performance of the national anthem at the 2024 MLB Home Run Derby. Andress posted on social media that she would be checking into rehab to get help, apologizing to MLB and fans for her rendition while intoxicated. In 2021, Andress received multiple nominations in country music categories. In 2023, her song "Wishful Drinking" earned a nomination for Best Country Duo and Group Performance. Her most recent album, Good Person, was released in 2022. She had recently announced a new single and two concert dates which have now been cancelled as she enters rehab.
