Former President Donald Trump was injured after being shot during an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday. A bullet pierced the upper part of his right ear. The shooter was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. He was fatally shot by a Secret Service sniper on the scene. One spectator was killed, and two others were critically injured. Investigators are still working to determine a motive, but have found no known connections to foreign or domestic terror groups for the shooter. His political leanings are also still unclear.
