Russian president Vladimir Putin has said that the formation of a ‘multipolar world’, a world order that sees a reduced role for the United States, is ‘a complex process and, in many ways, unfortunately, even painful.’
He also accused the ‘ruling elites’ of being ‘fiercely resistant’ to BRICS efforts to rebalance power and of the formation of a new ‘world order.’
