Pro-Democracy Activist Joshua Wong Requests Lighter Sentence

Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong has asked for a lighter sentence after pleading guilty to violating the city’s Beijing-imposed national security law.  Wong was among 47 activists charged with conspiracy to commit subversion in 2021.
