Shalane Flanagan hit the roads of Boston for the first BAA Road Mile. The three loop course finished at the same finish line for the 2009 Boston Marathon and Shalane crossed the line second behind Olympian Anna Willard. Shalane will head to the track after she watches the Boston Marathon from the lead truck. Shalane plans to head to the Carson Meet to run a fast 5k, but she plans to focus on the 10k for the 2009 World Championships in Berlin. © Flotrack
