Gena Rowlands is in the 'full' grip of Alzheimer’s

After playing dementia-stricken Allie in the much-loved 2004 weepie ‘The Notebook’, big-screen icon Gena Rowlands has been revealed by her filmmaker son to be in the “full” throes of Alzheimer’s disease.
