A baby elephant was rescued after it became stuck in a water channel in India.
Anti-poaching rangers were patrolling the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in the Nilgiri district on June 23 when they heard the baby elephant
Following the noise, the rangers found the elephant cub, which was no more than a few days old, stuck in the water channel.
Footage shows six forest department officials pulling the baby elephant out of the water channel and, after much effort, freeing it.
