Another loaded coal train heads east, we had been here for nearly eight hours by this point and still hadn't seen a westbound empty coal. Great catch with this one, though, an AC44CW running solo. Getting one-unit wonders is somewhat easy on this line, but this one was a little different. The unit has a Canadian-tuned Nathan K5HR24 horn, as opposed to the American-tuned K5LAR24 horns that are on most of these units. This is rare, because there are only a handful of AC44CWs on the CSXT locomotive roster that have these! It sounded beautiful, especially in the distance!
