In a day when everyone is getting offended, betraying each other, and hating one another, how can we live together in quiet enjoyment and not waste precious energy arguing over unprofitable things? And, while it seems like the love of many is growing cold, how can we be peaceable and gentle, showing full consideration to everyone in the midst of the lawlessness all around us?
Let's take a look at Paul's letter to Titus, a gentile believer who was suddenly caught in the arguments of his day. Paul wrote (Titus 3:9), "But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless."
Join me as we see what Paul's instructions were to Titus and find application for us today. As members of the Christian army, we can and do have the ability to stop the friendly fire and quit wounding our fellow troops!
