The Federal Opposition is proposing to build seven nuclear reactors across the country if it wins the next election, arguing it is the only solution for cheaper and greener power for Australia. Liberal leader Peter Dutton has earmarked seven locations in Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and New South Wales for the proposed power plants. The first two would come online between 20-35 and 20-37 and be built on the sites of existing coal-fired power stations. People in Fairfield in Sydney’s west have shared their thoughts on the plans.
