Yiddish folk songs are numerous, and this joyous Jewish song, though composed, has achieved the popularity of a folk song. It is among the best Yiddish music by Mark Warshawsky. Here it is arranged for Klezmer ensemble and sung by Marc Berman. This Klezmer version is based on a piano arrangement by H. Kopit.
