SpaceX launched its fourth test flight of the Starship rocket from its facility in Boca Chica, Texas, on Thursday. During this test flight, the Super Heavy booster successfully landed in the Gulf of Mexico which was the first time SpaceX returned the booster in one piece. Starship is designed to travel halfway around the Earth before reentering the atmosphere and splashing down in the Indian Ocean. The goals for this fourth test flight included successfully landing the Super Heavy booster and achieving a controlled entry and splashdown of Starship in the Gulf of Mexico.
