Hunter Biden's ex-girlfriend, Zoe Kestan, testified about Hunter's near-constant crack cocaine use in luxury hotels in LA in the months leading up to the 2018 gun purchase at the center of his trial. Kestan said Hunter would spend days in hotel rooms getting high, saying, “He would want to smoke as soon as he woke up.” She described meetings with a "scary" drug dealer and hunting for instructions on the internet to cook powder cocaine into crack. Hunter's ex-wife Kathleen Buhle also testified about discovering Hunter's drug use. Prosecutors are trying to show that Hunter Biden knowingly lied about his drug use on a gun purchase form, while the defense contends he was not using drugs at the time and did not intentionally deceive.
