The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, June 6, said rains triggered by the southwest monsoon or “habagat” are expected to affect Metro Manila and other areas of the country’s western section over the next 24 hours.
The habagat also unleashed heavy rains over Metro Manila and other parts of the country on Wednesday, June 5, resulting in flooding in several areas.
