President Lai Ching-te gave a speech at the opening ceremony of Computex Taipei, saying it will be possible to transform Taiwan into a smart AI island. He also said the government will help strengthen the country’s AI infrastructure by stabilizing the country’s power supply, building more supercomputers and cultivating tech talent.
