EU voters voice their hopes and fears, from environment and agriculture to prices and patriotism
Hundreds of millions of European Union citizens will be able to vote on June 6-9 to choose the 720 members of the next European Parliament, which together with EU governments, it decides on laws that govern policies and the EU market.
A wide range of voters of different ages and backgrounds who spoke to Reuters in the weeks leading up to the election named the environment and climate change, the cost of living and poverty, and defense and security as their top concerns, as well as frustration with EU bureaucracy.
