Former Liberal staffer Bruce Lehrmann has met the deadline to lodge a notice of appeal with the Federal Court to challenge a finding that on the balance of probabilities he did rape Brittany Higgins at parliament house in 2019. Mr Lehrmann has lodged a notice of claim for his appeal this afternoon, but no court date has been set.
