Donald Trump made a post on Truth Social on Memorial Day again denying the rape allegations from writer E. Jean Carroll and mentioning the $91 million in damages from her defamation lawsuits. Carroll's lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, responded that "all options are on the table" in response to Trump's post, as they have said since the last jury verdict. Kaplan has previously suggested a third defamation lawsuit could come from comments Trump made in a March 2024 CNBC interview. A jury found Trump liable for sexually assaulting Carroll in a NYC department store in the 1990s, and he was ordered to pay more than $83 million for defaming her in denying the allegations.
