YouTube sensation IShowSpeed claimed that he 'needed to go to hospital' after he was seen tumbling uncontrollably down the steep hill at the Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling race on Monday.
The annual event at Cooper's Hill sees competitors race down a steep incline in a bid to be the first to grab a 3kg rolling wheel of Double Gloucester Cheese. Tewkesbury Borough Safety Advisory Group stated last year that the 2023 event had put a strain on emergency services after several people suffered injuries following the event.
This year it seems IShowSpeed could be another heading to the emergency room after he appeared to suffer an injury to his leg during the race.
He was seen tumbling down a hill and landing flat on his back as the race began but did not seem to be seriously harmed after the race. The YouTuber also believed that he could have won if he had time to develop his technique - claiming that he came fourth.
It came just days after he was seen partying with Manchester United's FA Cup winning side, with the YouTuber appearing in an interview after the race stating he needed to go to hospital.
'Just tell us about your leg, have you fractured your leg?' a reporter from the BBC asked the American after the race.
'You see that blood right there?' Speed said while pointing to his leg. The YouTuber told the reporter that had a 'plumbing infraction' before adding: 'It bruises and swells up. So I have to go to the hospital after.'
When asked whether it was worth it, the YouTuber replied: 'Hell yeah!' while laughing.
'It looks scary but once that first slide is done, you're like, "You know what, I can do this". And I took it but I want to do it again because I know how to win now.
'I won fourth place in my first time with no technique, with no videos. But I did it,' he added.
He was asked whether he'd give it another go, replying: 'Yeah!'
The 19-year-old, who is an avid Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo fan, was in London this weekend to watch his side seal a 2-1 victory against Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
He was also seen in a video rowing with several United supporters inside Wembley after he had attempted to galvanize his team.
