PAGASA lowers wind signals as ‘Aghon’ moves farther away

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday afternoon, May 27 lowered the tropical cyclone wind signals as Typhoon “Aghon” (international name: Ewiniar) moved farther away from the country’s landmass.

In the 5 p.m. tropical cyclone bulletin, only Signal No. 1 remains raised over the eastern portion of Quirino, the southern portion of Nueva Vizcaya, the eastern portion of Isabela, Aurora, the northern portion of Quezon including Polillo Islands, and the northwestern portion of Camarines Norte including Calaguas Islands.
