Former President Donald Trump declared his intention to revoke the Biden administration's protections for transgender students immediately if re-elected. These protections, updated in Title IX in April to combat discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in educational programs, are scheduled to start on August 1st. Trump, speaking on a conservative radio show in Philadelphia, emphasized that he would dismantle these amendments, which were established by presidential order, on his first day back in office.
