The Energy Minister says that the costs for the State's response to the oil in the waters off Tobago will be covered by The International Oil Pollution Compensation Fund which is based in the U.K.
And the Minister says that when he made submissions before the Fund's board in London, last week, he estimated the final cost could be in the millions of U.S. dollars.
