Opposition KMT Vies To Extend Life of Nuclear Power Plants

Taiwan's main opposition party, the Kuomintang or KMT, wants to amend the law to allow extending the service life of the country's nuclear power plants. The government has pledged to phase out the use of nuclear power by next year.
