In describing the deaths of babies at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Port of Spain General Hospital as "quite disastrous", the Prime Minister also gave an assurance to the population that this country's "hospitals are safe."
Dr Rowley spoke on the matter during the post-Cabinet media briefing on Thursday as he had some very strong words for the Opposition regarding its criticisms of what it is calling 'a national tragedy'.
