Video shows water gushing at incredible speed from the ceiling of a Flying Tiger Copenhagen store inside the Mall of the Emirates.
The mall, which cost £174.m to build, spreads over 2,4m square feet (220,000 m2) of retail floor area.
Further footage shows roads in the downtown area completely flooded.
