It's not been announced what type of cancer Catherine has been diagnosed with, Kensington Palace said it is confident Kate will make a full recovery. A palace spokesperson said the Prince and Princess of Wales were "enormously touched by the kind messages" they have received, and that they were "grateful for the understanding of their request for privacy at this time."
