One Cabinet member told the Parliament on Monday that the Government "wants Harpe Place to have a gated community" and he said this would be one result of the Property Tax and local government reform.
Meanwhile, the National Security Minister responded to a question in Parliament from the Opposition about the mass killing that occurred at Harpe Place this past weekend.
The Minister said police patrols have been stepped up and counselling has been offered to people in the community by the police.
