UST sweeps UP in UAAP 86 Women's volleyball
The UST Golden Tigresses, in its best start in UAAP women's volleyball, goes 6-0 with a 25-22, 25-20, 26-24 sweep of the UP Fighting Maroons in Season 86 at the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. UST last posted 6-0 in Season 73 back in 2011 when Rhea Dimaculangan and Aiza Maizo led the way for the Golden Tigresses who finished second to then champions the De La Salle Lady Spikers. Angge Poyos dropped 22 points, seven excellent digs, and seven receptions to bring UST to one win away from sweeping the Season 86 first round.
