"Portrait of Jenny" was the second album released in 1970 by Dizzy Gillespie, after the jazz, funk and be-bop in the previous one, Gillespie returnes to his love of and experimentation with Afro-Cuban rhythms and soul jazz, and the long form tracks that allows for solos and interplay between rhythm sections and the melodies.
