Police have launched a CCTV appeal after a teenager sustained ‘serious facial injuries’ from an alleged assault on Sauchiehall Street last October.

Officers have released an image of the man they believe was responsible for the attack on an 18-year-old boy.

The force said that enquiries are ongoing and they are appealing to anyone who might recognise him to come forward.

Next up, several young people were arrested in the East End after allegedly being engaged in violence, disorderly conduct and antisocial behaviour.

Police appealed to the public asking ‘Do you know where your child is tonight?’ On social media.

The incident took place in Parkhead and Easterhouse areas.

And finally, an Emirates flight from Dubai to Canada was diverted to Glasgow Airport following a mid-air medical emergency.

A spokesperson for the airport confirmed that emergency services were there to meet the plane when it landed as is standard procedure and the passenger was treated.
