On February 23, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced a compensation of Rs 1 crore for the family of the farmer Shubhkaran Singh who died while protesting. CM Mann also announced a government job for Shubhkaran’s sister. Farmers alleged that Singh died after tear gas shelling by the Haryana police. Farmers have suspended their ‘Delhi Chalo’ march till February 23. Farmers have been demanding MSP for crops among other issues. Watch the video to know more.
