Kimera Automobili has introduced the EVO38, an "Integrated" version of the sold-out EVO37 with a number of exterior, interior and mechanical upgrades. The highlight of the EVO38 is the addition of all-wheel drive, inspired by the never-realized evolution of the rear-wheel-drive Lancia 037 rally car.
The new model is defined as "Ultima Evoluzione", which means "Final Evolution" in Italian. Styling stays true to the EVO37's successful recipe, but the EVO38 features wider and slightly more boxy fenders, a redesigned bumper, a new vented bonnet, a revised diffuser and rear wing, as well as a single exhaust pipe mounted between the round taillights . It also gets a new set of rally-inspired alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres.
The mid-mounted engine has been upgraded with a larger, centrally mounted turbocharger and new smokestack-style exhausts, but Kimera has yet to reveal detailed specs. The company also stated that the new model has improvements in airflow, weight distribution and ventilation, as well as revised ergonomics in the cabin.
As its name suggests, the EVO38 will be produced in a limited edition of 38 units, one more than the previous model.
