Study: Seniors enjoy virtual reality
Retired Army Colonel Farrell Patrick, who taught computer science for decades, was amazed by his first virtual reality experience at 91 years old. In a retirement community in Florida, he felt like he was flying a Navy fighter jet. This experience was part of a study by Stanford University, showing that seniors between 65 and 103 years old enjoyed virtual reality and it improved their emotions and interactions with staff.
