The Kremlin confirmed an investigation is underway into the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in prison. Kremlin spokesperson Peskov said "all due actions are being taken" under Russian law to determine the circumstances of Navalny's demise. Navalny's mother and lawyers were blocked from the mortuary where his body may be, according to his spokesperson. Peskov denied any Kremlin involvement in blocking the return of Navalny's body to his family. Navalny's wife has accused Putin of killing her husband and vowed to continue his opposition work.
