It's about time !. That's the response of the President of the TTPS Social and Welfare Association, ASP Gideon Dickson, when asked about the Parliamentary debate on the acting position of Deputy Commissioner of Police.
ASP Dickson says the last time the service had three sitting Deputy Commissioners was in 2021. He says the TTPS not having a full-compliment of DCPs, places a strain on the organization's structure. He is calling for an end to political interference in the police service.
