A southwestern Sydney primary school that was shut down after asbestos was found in mulch in a playground will stay closed for at least another two weeks. Its 700 students will be sent to a neighbouring school because more extensive remediation works are needed than first thought. The widening contaminated mulch saga has also forced the cancellation of the annual Mardi Gras Fair Day.
